These sturdy, well-made jars are suited to a wide range of canning tasks, and many people think that they look rather nice as well, making them very popular among cooks all over the world. Good Le Parfait jars can get costly, but some people feel that it is worth the expense, as these jars are known for being extremely reliable and very easy to use. Le Parfait jars really are perfect for a lot of things, thanks to their design. A classic Le Parfait jar has a lid mounted on a wire hinge, with a locking lever to fasten the lid to the top of the jar. A rubber o-ring is inserted into the lid as a gasket, creating an airtight seal inside the jar which will hold until the lever is lifted, breaking the seal. It is also possible to find Le Parfait jars with screw-on caps. For canning, these jars are extremely useful. and because they are clear, it is easy to see the contents of the jar. They can also be used for more general kitchen storage; until cooks are ready to use the contents of the jar, and they can be easily re-sealed. You can also use Le Parfait jars for freezing, although you should be careful to leave a gap at the top of the jar to allow the contents to expand. If the jar lacks sufficient expansion room, it will explode when the contents freeze all the way, since the seal is too strong to allow the jar to simply pop open. Some people also use Le Parfait jars with special ?burping? gaskets to make fermented foods; in this case, the gasket allows gas to escape from the jar, but not to enter it. The basic design of Le Parfait jars may not be terribly innovative or remarkable, but it has become associated with quality, both because the jars are often of very good quality and because they have become popular with gourmets around the world. Many kitchen supply stores sell Le Parfait jars, and you can also order them from companies which specialize in imported French kitchen supplies.

I use these baskets for food storage on chrome plated wire shelves in my kitchen. I use the for fruits such as bananas, apples or oranges. I plan to use them also for potatoes and onions. They have a large size and cheap price. They are a little thin and easy to bend one arrived bent but I just bent it straight again. I like the look and function as they are suited for allowing fruit to evenly ripen in the basket due to the air circulation. I would order more of these for the same purpose or maybe to store spices, food packets whatever. They are very handy and can be used throught the home in many different ways.

i purchased this after reading all the reviews; so far, it has held up well, with no malfunction of the clip; but then again, im not a hardcore user of this equipment, so i expect it will be just fine.

i would recommend. it doesnt take up a lot of space, not bulky, efficient, etc

I have owned 2 of these cases. The first one was purchased on 8/12/09 and the second on 5/30/10. In both instances the clip on the holster broke. The first one broke right at the pivot and the second one cracked about 1/2" from the pivot. I contacted Seidio support via chat and they told me the 2011 models are warrantied for one year and the previous ones warrantied for 6 months. It appears they have made a change to the design to make it last longer and boosted the warranty to match, but in both cases the warranty period is about all of the life you can expect out of the holster. The price of the combo at the time I write this is just under $40, so expect to buy a new holster/combo for $40 every year. To me that is too high of a maintenance cost, I could almost buy a new Iphone for the cost I've put into these two combos.
I will say that if this combo could be the best one on the market if it would just last longer....

Like many others, I want to say that this is the most functional case/holster combo I've found. But, also like many others, the reliability of the product is unacceptable. 5 months after purchase, the spring clip broke off while I was simply putting my phone back into the holster. I contacted Seidio and they replaced the holster (after I paid for return shipping). Unfortunately, 10 months later, this second holster also broke, in the exact same place. This time, however, Seidio would not replace it since it was outside the original holster's warranty period. I guess they figure if they charge enough for the holster, they'll still make money even when they (inevitably) replace it once.

In short, while the holster works well, I'm afraid I'd never purchase another Seidio product due to reliability/warranty issues.

We house sat for friends a few years back. When I opened their cupboard and saw a beautiful rainbow of colors, I was instantly cheered and intrigued. Our friend had 12 place settings of Fiestaware in 12 different colors. She had had them for 12 years and had only broken one plate, in spite of having two active young boys. When I saw that they were used in a new restaurant nearby, I decided that they were, indeed, hearty. I began collecting Fiestaware immediately and have never regretted it. It gives me a lift each day and is fun to make colorful combinations for different seasons. I have chipped on cup (what a fluke) and cracked one plate in half when dropped from about 5 feet on the cement patio. We have dropped many pieces and are always amazed at picking them up unscathed. I have even stopped getting out the delicate Christmas china in favor of using all my red and green pieces. In the fall I use oranges and yellows and reds, in the winter I use Jewel tones, etc. I have "happy" plates according to my grandsons.

I love this butter dish. The first one arrived broken (due to improper packaging) and it was quickly and easily replaced. I really love the color and it fits a stick of butter just fine. Maybe people are buying larger sticks of butter than I am because some people complained of not being able to fit an entire stick of butter in it. I get the Walmart kind (Great Value brand) and it fits perfectly with a little room to spare. Love this butter dish! I have it in scarlet and it goes so well with my red-themed kitchen! <3 <3 <3

I used to have a large pyrex mixing bowl that I used all the time but ended up shattering it on the kitchen floor. I bought this set of bowls and they are awesome. The bottoms have a rubber ring so they grip the surface they are placed on and the edges have a very convenient pour spout and handle.

These bowls are large enough to mix things in but I like to eat giant portions of food from them.

I love this stroller. I bought this 2 days before a 12k run after months of struggling with and finally returning the Schwinn Free Runner jogger stroller. This is a dream! I love it -- it runs so smooth and you really do not need to lift the front wheel off the ground to be able to turn which makes such a difference for both the runner and I am sure for the baby sitting in the jogger. Our baby seems more comfortable in this, the sun shade provides really good coverage and I don't have a bad thing to say about it. We also bought the parent console which has been great for holding keys, cell phone, drink and baby snacks.

I love this stroller. Its so easyto take this out for a jog, my feet dont even come close to kicking the stroller while i run. My husband is 6'5" and his feet dont kick it either. Its easy for him to push the stroller too without having to lean over. My son is so comfy in this and i love how it lays down whan he falls asleep. It has plenty of storage space. Its great for everyday use too. It is a little heary but it doesnt bother me because being able to use this until he's 75lbs makes it worth it. If you are looking for a jogging stroller this is the one you want. You willnot be disappointed.

This stroller is probably perfect if you're a runner. I'm more of a power walker than jogger so this stroller didn't work for me. I jog/power walk through trails and I need a swivel wheel. The fixed wheel drove me nuts! Plus, my 10 month old daughter was always slouched and completely uncomfortable. It has zero back support. And even though the shade is very substantial, the sun was still in my daughter's eyes at 8:30am. However, I'm sure with any stroller sunrise or sunset wouldn't have a big enough shade. I'm going to try out the Joovy Zoom 360 and Baby Jogger Summit XC and hope they have a better option for me.

I have used these pillows for years, but after emailing where I bought them from the first time I was told that now they are made commercially, well now, the ones I have bought in the last two years have beenb tooooo soft and not of the firmness of the earlier ones. I am not happy with the newer commercially made ones.

Does anyone know where to buy the firmer ones?
